About

I am a graduate student in the Physical Oceanography Lab at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories. I currently study plankton community composition and succession through analysis of data from multiple sensors aboard the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute’s (MBARI) autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). My research interests include plankton community succession, nutrient dynamics, and optimization of sampling techniques for oceanographic research.

When not studying and working in the lab, I enjoy getting out on the water through research cruises, helping with peers’ thesis projects, scuba diving, sailing, and surfing.
